Delighted to have passed my trailer test today a year after passing my car driving test when I was 17. As having a trailer licence is now necessary, a friend and I thought it would be useful to have, coming from a farming background. I was recommended Jonnys auto academy, so we took a days training in Omagh for this and did the test on a separate day. The training was spot on, as we both passed comfortably first time. Jonny is a class instructor and we couldn’t have been taught how to tow a trailer safely by a better person. Have no doubts about doing your trailer training with Jonny as he is good crack and easy to get on with. We thank Jonny very much!

I turned 17 on the 8th July, and I took my first driving lesson on that day. I was learning on the roads straight away. After three single lessons Jonny decided to start taking double lessons to Larne to start me on learning my manovers, as I was use to roads and able to change the gears properly. Even though I only went out 9 times, it was really 15 lessons altogether, and on the 26th August, 7 weeks exactly after my 17th birthday, I passed my driving test 1st time, and I had a clean sheet (no minors). If it wasn't for Jonny I would still be learning, and I would definately recommend him.

After turning 17 at the start of May I was eager to get going and passed my theory on my Birthday. I wanted to get the test done quick and after asking a few of my friends they recommended Jonny, I sent him a text and we got the first few lessons booked and within a week I was in Larne learning the roads and the maneuvers. I knew there were going to be a lot of things which needed worked on, but as the weeks progressed the number of faults in my driving lessened and I began to feel very comfortable on the roads. Jonny was always able to answer questions and throughout the 2 hour lessons I was constantly learning because we were discussing everything that went on. I ended up passing my test after one month and 13 days with 3 minor marks, for which i can only give credit to Jonny for his optimistic and very persevering approach.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Jonny for his patience and understanding when learning to drive. I have been taught by other driving schools before and didnt really stick with them. When Jonny was recommened by a friend who had passed their test, who had also driven with other driving schools, said that driving with Jonny's Auto Academy made learning to drive fun. She was right!! I really enjoyed learning to drive, Jonny made it easier than other driving instructors. Although I failed my driving test the first time I passed the 2nd time and that was completely down to the way that Jonny's Auto Academy taught me how to drive. I turned 17 at the end of March 2011 and started learning the first week of April. Jonny took me to a carpark and got me used to the controls of the car and I immediately felt comfortable. His teaching was brilliant the whole time, never getting frustrated with me even though I did at times (haha). After a few lessons he had me down in Larne and starting manoeuvres and with his good teaching I soon felt fairly confident doing these also. I got my test booked soon after and was over the moon when I passed. I would recommend anyone learning to drive to go with Jonny as he's great craic and a great teacher, he'll have you passed in no time!

Last April, I turned 17 and was eager to learn to drive. I started out with a bigger, local driving school in my area. I took over 20 lessons with this driving school and wasn't making any significant progress and my instructor was unreliable and kept cancelling lessons. I soon became impatient as a lot of my school friends were passing their tests, and I asked a friend which driving instructor he had been taught by as he was a brilliant driver! He recommended me Jonny, and ever since the first phone call I made to Jonny, I haven't regretted changing my driving school. Jonny is a top class instructor; very professional, firm and I learnt a lot more with him in my first lesson than I did in 20 lessons with my previous driving school. As the weeks progressed, I started to become more confident in driving, due to Jonny's encouragement, praise and advice. I booked my first test in April, just before my 18th birthday. I unfortunately failed this, but instead of giving up, Jonny helped to re-store my confidence and I booked another test for a few weeks later. In early May 2011, I passed my 2nd driving test and I couldn't be happier! Passing my driving test would not have been possible without the help of Jonny; he never once cancelled a driving lesson and was 110% committed to all of his students. He even offers you a motorway lesson after you pass your test which shows exactly how committed he is to the success of his students, even after they have passed their driving test. I turned 17 in December 2009 and began taking driving lessons with a large driving school in my area. I first heard about Jonny’s auto academy when my friend went to Jonny for lessons. Soon all my friends began to pass their tests while I was still having lessons and I began to feel disheartened as I had yet to be put in for my driving test. I failed my first driving test in June and felt that my driving instructor was beginning to give up on me and therefore I lost almost all of my confidence with driving and temporarily gave up altogether. My friends constantly encouraged me to learn with Jonny as they had all found him to be a brilliant teacher who was very reliable. In January 2011 I began to take lessons with Jonny and within a month I passed my driving test. I would recommend Jonny to anyone as he was committed to my success and gave me the confidence I needed to drive.

Jonny was recommended to me by my work colleague who passed his test first time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him myself to all my friends. I thoroughly enjoyed every driving lesson with Jonny. He has the patience of a saint; he assisted me with all my manoevres and boosted my confidence on the roads whilst remaining upbeat and fun to learn with. He was always flexible with my working hours and school times and would go out of his way to accommodate me.
Having now passed my test this week Jonny has offered to take me out for a motorway
